LA COMPAGNIE INTRODUCES YEAR-ROUND DIRECT BUSINESS CLASS SERVICE BETWEEN NEW YORK AND NICE

For the first time, the 100% Smart Business Class airline extends its New York–Nice service through the 2026–2027 winter season, offering the only direct connection between the two destinations during the core winter months and making the French Riviera accessible to American travelers year-round.

NEW YORK, Nov. 5, 2026 — The French Riviera is no longer just a summer destination. With its mild Mediterranean climate, celebrated gastronomy, vibrant cultural scene and year-round appeal for business and leisure travelers, the region offers plenty of reasons to visit in every season. Building on this growing demand, La Compagnie, the 100% Smart Business Class airline, is extending its New York–Nice service into the 2026–2027 winter season for the first time. As the only airline offering direct flights between New York and Nice this winter, La Compagnie is strengthening its commitment to the US market and making the French Riviera more accessible than ever.

New York–Nice Schedule, Winter 2026–2027
La Compagnie operates the New York–Nice route twice weekly during the 2026–2027 winter season:

• Departures from Newark: Mondays and Thursdays at 8:30pm, arriving in Nice at 10:20am the following day, with a special Sunday departure on November 29 for ILTM attendees
• Departures from Nice: Tuesdays and Fridays at 1:00pm, arriving in New York (Newark) at 3:30pm

Discovering the French Riviera Beyond Summer
With its picturesque coastal towns and rich cultural offerings, the French Riviera offers a different kind of escape during the cooler months. Travelers can enjoy the region at a more relaxed pace, with fewer crowds and a calendar of winter traditions, including:

• Rallye Monte-Carlo (Jan. 21–24, 2027) — the opening round of the World Rally Championship
• Nice Carnival (Feb. 9–28, 2027) — the Riviera's biggest winter celebration
• Menton Lemon Festival (Feb. 13–28, 2027) — famous for its parades of citrus-covered floats

Flights will operate throughout the holiday season, with departures from New York on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve.

Fall and winter bring a busy calendar of conferences and industry events to the region, and Nice serves as a convenient gateway to these gatherings. This season, La Compagnie travelers can fly directly to Nice for:

• ILTM Cannes (Nov. 30–Dec. 3, 2026) — the luxury travel industry's flagship marketplace
• World AI Cannes Festival (Feb. 10–11, 2027) — a major European forum on artificial intelligence
• Canneseries (Feb. 12–17, 2027) — Cannes' international festival of television series
• MIPIM (March 16–19, 2027) — a leading global real estate conference 

Continued Growth Across the Atlantic
The winter extension marks another milestone for La Compagnie, which has been redefining business-class travel since 2014. The airline connects New York (Newark) with Paris (Orly), Nice and Milan (Malpensa), and will add a fourth European destination on April 21, 2027: Düsseldorf, at the heart of Germany's Rhine-Ruhr business region. It will be the only nonstop service between New York and Düsseldorf when it launches.

This growth will be supported by the planned arrival of a third Airbus A321neo LR in 2027, followed by an Airbus A321neo XLR in 2028. These aircraft are quieter, more fuel-efficient and offer greater range, while preserving the all-business-class experience at the heart of La Compagnie's model.
